Agri-tech training that adapts
Agri-tech training must evolve to strengthen every stakeholder in the food value chain—ranging from farmers and dairy producers to processors, distributors, and retailers. This training should integrate elements of digital literacy, data analytics, and climate-smart practices to enhance agri-livelihoods and address current social, economic, and environmental challenges. By promoting collaboration, transparency, and equitable skill development, such training fosters resilience and efficiency throughout the food value chain. Moreover, incorporating AI, IoT, and cooperative learning ensures sustainable productivity, fair value sharing, and food security for all within our rapidly changing agri-ecosystem.
Zero Poverty for Sustainability
Achieving zero poverty by 2047 is central to India’s vision of becoming a developed nation. The objective is to ensure that every citizen has access to dignified livelihoods, including agri-livelihoods that engage in the food value chain, alongside quality education, healthcare, and social protection. This endeavor requires inclusive growth that bridges rural–urban divides, empowers women and youth, and strengthens cooperative and digital ecosystems.
