OUR OBJECTIVES

Resilient food value chain focused on Indian farmers, dairy integration, and sustainability.

Resilient Food Value Chain

The Global Food System needs a transformation that will ensure resiliency, sustainability and equitable distribution.  A resilient food value chain ensures equitable stakeholder development by empowering farmers, processors, and consumers alike. It focuses on sustainably increasing productivity while safeguarding natural resources. Transparent use of data and AI enhances efficiency, accountability, and trust across the chain. Most importantly, resilience means securing food availability at prices within the purchasing capacity of the masses, thereby balancing inclusivity, sustainability, and affordability to strengthen both livelihoods and nutrition security.

Promoting Agri-livelihoods that sustains

Promoting agri‑livelihoods that sustain means empowering rural communities through inclusive growth, innovation, and environmental stewardship. It involves enhancing farm productivity with climate‑smart practices, efficient resource use, and fair market access. Strengthening farmer cooperatives, integrating dairy and crop systems, and leveraging digital tools for transparency ensure resilience and income stability. By aligning economic viability with ecological balance, sustainable agri‑livelihoods secure food, nutrition, and dignity for millions while nurturing the land for future generations.

Agri-tech training that adapts

Agri‑tech training must evolve to strengthen every stakeholder in the food value chain — from farmers and dairy producers to processors, distributors, and retailers. It should combine digital literacy, data analytics, and climate‑smart practices to meet current social, economic, and environmental challenges. By fostering collaboration, transparency, and equitable skill development, such training builds resilience and efficiency across the chain. Integrating AI, IoT, and cooperative learning ensures sustainable productivity, fair value sharing, and food security for all in a rapidly changing agri‑ecosystem.

Zero Poverty for Sustainability

Achieving zero poverty by 2047 is central to India’s vision of becoming a developed nation. The objective is to ensure that every citizen has access to dignified livelihoods, quality education, healthcare, and social protection. It requires inclusive growth that bridges rural–urban divides, empowers women and youth, and strengthens cooperative and digital ecosystems. By aligning economic progress with environmental sustainability and equitable resource distribution, India can eradicate poverty, enhance resilience, and secure prosperity for all, laying the foundation for sustainable development and a truly empowered society.
